I am Officially at a Loss
Ok so growing up I played a lot of "edutainment" computer games because that was really the only sort of video/computer game my parents would buy me; they were all about making sure everything I consumed was educational but I enjoyed it so who cares honestly
We weren't wealthy so we didn't have internet connected to our computers until like. 2000. And this definitely occurred before then.
Sometime in the 90s I had some sort of interactive game about prehistoric life. Well, okay, I had a lot of them. But there was one that had like a children's paining mini game, where you could pick backgrounds and draw on it. You could also put stamps, and I remember distinctly being VERY AMUSED one day because there was a trilobite stamp (and I'm p sure it was a game about the Mesozoic era) and trilobites didn't live at the same time as dinosaurs
The interface was 2D and it really resembled - honestly, it was probably identical to - the painting gallery in JumpStart 3rd grade (the original 90s one, which I also had even tho I was. Not in third grade at the time. I was like 5 or something.)
But I can't for the life of me figure out the game. I'm on another nostalgia kick and getting games from my childhood and everything but I CANT REMEMBER THIS and it's NOT ON ANY OF THE DISKS I HAVE and I'm ??? So confused?? And googling shit is not helping me AT ALL
Send help. Send heeeeelllppppp
It was some sort of cd-rom game for a Microsoft system in the 1990s (so probably before windows 2000 but I can't rule that out. We can rule out it being before windows xp.) the painting interface is really the only concrete thing I remember about it
